Back the Bill to End Tool Theft

Amanda Martin, MP for Portsmouth North, is calling for tougher sentences for criminals who steal tools from the vans of working people.

Amanda is proposing a bill to get tough on criminals by increasing the usual ‘harm category’ when sentencing equipment and tools of trade theft from Category 3 to Category 2 to account for the loss of earning.
